Resource® ThickenUp® Clear is designed specifically for the dietary management of patients with swallowing difficulties:
- Improves swallowing safety without compromising efficacy
- Easy to use – thickens and stabilises rapidly, remains clear and lump free over time
- Keeps natural flavour and aroma of food and drinks
- Can be used in hot, cold or fizzy liquids including tea, coffee, sparkling water and cola

Mixing Resource® ThickenUp® Clear with drinks is simple, just make sure these steps are followed exactly for a smooth consistency
If you are unsure about the recommended fluid consistency consult a Speech and Language Therapist for further advice.
1 scoop/ sachet =1.2 g.
For food, add Resource® ThickenUp® Clear as needed to achieve the appropriate consistency.
* For level 4 extremely thick liquids, evaluated IDDSI compliant based on spoon tilt test. It is the responsibility of the person administering Resource® ThickenUp® Clear to ensure that the liquid or food is mixed to the appropriate consistency.
Resource® ThickenUp® Clear should only be used under medical supervision. A Speech and Language Therapist should be consulted for advice on fluid consistency.

Suitable for patients requiring thickening of liquid or food for the management of dysphagia due to conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, neurological disorders caused by injury or disease, and malignancies of the oral cavity and throat.

A sample product should only be requested for a patient if deemed suitable following a professional evaluation from an appropriate healthcare professional.
